The hunt had gone bad.
Sam had meant to kill the werewolf, but it wounded him instead. Frantic, his brother brought his brother back to Bobby's, to the panic room while he searched for a cure before the next full moon.
No cure ever came.
Desperate to prove his brother wasn't a monster, Dean walked into the panic room when Sam wad shifted.. The wolf had snarled and threatened, but he knew his brother. Dean was family. Pack.
Still searching for ways to control his wolf, Sam strikes out. Hunting and looking fit any help he can find.
