A year since he'd arrived at Beacon Hills looking for help, a year since he'd found a pack and a year since he'd found Stiles and fallen completely and stupidly in love with him. They were both bearing new scars and Sam will swear up and down that he saw a grey hair or two after the latest incident just before graduation, but they were alive. Safe. Whole.
Most of the students were out at wild graduation parties all over the town.
Tonight Sam had something nicer in mind. A simple dinner for two (after kicking his brother out for the entire weekend) and their own celebration. Stiles had graduated that afternoon. He was eighteen and getting ready for college. It was as exciting as it was frightening. Sam didn't want him to leave. But he still wanted to celebrate with him.
